Actuate Health is a boutique health hub offering a range of psychological and physical health services to individuals and workplaces across South-East Queensland. Our Allied Health team are currently dedicated to Psychological and Counselling services. However, we are expanding and will be bringing on other Allied Health Professionals very shortly.
We offer services subsidised through Medicare, DVA, Workers’ Compensation, CTP, and NDIS. These subsidies can be accessed through an eligible referral by your GP or Specialist.
We also offer privately funded services, if preferred. We will discuss fees and billing with you when booking your first appointment. Alternatively, you can use the contact us page to request a summary of fees.

Work Hours: Monday 9:00am to 12:00pm / Tuesday to Thursday 9:00am to 5:00pm

Vanessa Batty
Psychologist
Work Hours: Tuesday to Thursday 9:00am to 2:30pm
10 years' + clinical and occupational health experience
Katrina is PHD qualified Psychologist dedicated to the provision of quality psychological and occupational health services for individuals as well as workplaces. Katrina’s passion for a strengths-based, whole of body approach to mental health and wellbeing, lead to her forming Actuate Health in 2018. Katrina has worked both in counselling and occupational health roles within the Workers’ Compensation, DVA, Disability Employment, Employee Assistance, and Private sectors. She has extensive experience assisting individuals with adjustment issues including changes to physical capacity/disability, unemployment and career transition; anxiety and depression; relationship concerns; loss and grief; and trauma.

Vanessa has over 15 years' experience as a Psychologist working with individuals to help them better understand, manage and achieve their goals when it comes to their mental health and well-being. She has worked with all ages from children to adults and finds working with young people (ages 5 and up) and their families extremely rewarding. Vanessa has extensive experience supporting people with varying needs including anxiety, depression, self-harm, family conflict, school issues, friendships and life changes.
